CARLOTTA KEATON, Mathematics Coach
I am the Mathematics Coach at Walgrove Elementary School. I received two bachelor degrees in Sociology and African American Studies- Education from California State University, Northridge in 1990. I began my teaching career in 1990, teaching primarily the upper grades 4-5-6. I received my clear teaching credential from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 1996. I have been a Mathematics Coach since 2003. I have served on endless committees that promote gifted and talented education and
culturally relevant teaching.  I enjoy providing parents and staff with professional development that assists in strengthening their abilities to work with children.  As parents of two school age daughters and a toddler son, my husband and I spend a lot of our time balancing the extra-curricular activities of our children with providing a fun and exciting life for them.  When the schoolwork is done, we play volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, sing, dance and are without a doubt, creating well-rounded children.
