I have been an elementary teacher for 14 years. I have taught grades K-4 in Los
AngelesNew Jersey. Prior to working in Los
AngelesUnifiedSchool
District, I worked as a Training Specialist in
the business world. I taught
communication skills, problem solving, quality improvement, customer service
skills and sales support courses. I
enjoy quilting, theater, film, art, poetry, travel, and reading in |

my recreation time. I like to bike by the beach or walk by the boats in the Marina. My passion is teaching language arts to children, and I have been a Literacy Coach for four years. I have an M.A. in education, and an M.B.A. I am currently working on my Reading Specialist Certificate at U.C.L.A.
