"Swingin' Social" 5th Annual Silent Auction: Donations are still needed! Please log on to www.friendsofwalgrove.com for additional donation packets. You don't have to dig into your wallet. Just dig deep and get creative! Have an uncle who's a plumber? Will he donate 2 hours of his time? Can you bake an AWESOME birthday cake for someone's party? Also, please consider donating a bottle of wine ($10-$15 value) to your classroom case of wine. We are aiming to put together one case of wine (12 bottles) from each classroom for the auction. Contact your Room Parent for more information.

Wednesday, March 16: Farmers' Market, 2:00pm-4:00pm, Morningside Way entrance of Walgrove, $25/bag with $2 of every bag sold going to Walgrove. Place your order at: csacalifornia.org. Thursday, March 17: A Gaelic Gathering (Irish music, dance, and song), Grades K~2 at 12:30pm and Grades 3~5 at 1:30pm, Auditorium. "A Gaelic Gathering" is the perfect way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Parents are welcome to attend either performance, but we encourage attendance
at the 1:30pm performance as it will have more seats available. We are accepting suggested donations of $5 to $10 to help cover the cost of the additional performance.

Saturday, March 19: L.A. Odyssey -- A Night with Jim Heimann, 6-8pm, Auditorium. Doors open at 5pm for appetizers and social. Join author and Taschen Books Editor, Jim Heimann, on a visual tour through Southern California's via rare, odd, and unusual images and facts culled from his rare,
odd, and unusual archives. Tickets: $18. Childcare provided, $5/child, in the Library (includes pizza and a movie). Seating is limited, so buy your tickets and reserve a babysitting spot ASAP! Contact: Lisa Haase (haase1276@yahoo.com).
