Monday, January 10: School Begins After Winter Break!

Tuesday, January 11: Tuesday Early Dismissal.  School dismisses at 1:30pm.

Tuesday, January 11: First FOW Meeting of 2011, 6:30pm~8:00pm, Library.  Childcare will be provided, $3.00/child.  We will be starting a discussion series on WALGROVE'S CORE BELIEFS and other distinctive qualities of our neighborhood school.  Please join us to hear more about our continued integration of Core Beliefs, our unique FOW-sponsored programs,and to let YOUR VOICE be heard about Walgrove's future.

Monday, January 17: Martin Luther King Birthday -- SCHOOL HOLIDAY

Saturday, January 22: Walgroovy Event -- Scotch-Tasting Party and Poker Night, 6:30pm, Retro-Styled Handel Residence.  Scotch provided by Great Vines (thank you, Tim Jones) and an expert tasting session will be run by Rob Gard, the Whiskey Guy.  Watch the drama unfold at the Poker Table (sorry, poker sold out but you can put your name on a waitlist) as winner takes all at 9:07pm!  Contact walgroovygatherings@gmail.com to join the party.  $40.00 per person. 

HELP WANTED

Monthly Fourth Saturday (tentative schedule): Community Day, 1:00pm-4:00pm, Walgrove Campus.  Great job to all those who participated in December's Saturday Community Day!  It doesn't happen if no one shows up so you should pat yourselves on the back.  Please start a rotation for this event in your classes.  We have tentatively scheduled one for the fourth Saturday of every month (January through May).  If you'd like to help in the set-up, please just let me know:francine.nellis@me.com
