HELP WANTEDS

Library Volunteer needed! We still need a volunteer for Thursday 11am-12pm, when Mr. Gonzalez' 4th/5th Grade class comes in. Contact: Brandy Oeser (brandyoeser@yahoo.com).

Spanish Translator Needed! We are looking for someone who can help us translate our flyers and newsletters into Spanish and also be available to translate at the monthly FOW meetings. You must read, speak and write English and write Spanish fluently. This is a “Community Representative” position with a flexible and limited number of paid hours. The person will be an LAUSD employee and will need to get processed by the district. Questions? Contact: Olivia Adams, Principal (oadams@lausd.net).

Valet Drop-Off Program Volunteers Needed! We are ready to start our Valet Drop-off program at the front of school as soon as we can gather a group of parent volunteers (3-4 needed each day of the week) to set-up, run, and put away the supplies each day (a commitment from about 7:30am-8:10am). People can commit to a single day, or multiple days depending on what their schedules allow. I need interested people to contact me ASAP to let me know what days they are available, and then I can move forward with getting school police out here to train us all. This program has been such a success the last two times I implemented it at schools, I really hope we can get the parent support to get it up and running! Contact: Olivia Adams, Principal (oadams@lausd.net).

Studio Lab Donations Wanted! Studio Lab is looking for donations of recycled materials such as bottle caps, plastic caps, spools, corks, toilet paper tubes, paper towel tubes, empty tape rolls, lids from jars, any kind of wire, etc. (Nothing too large.) Contact: Ariel Park (arielpark@verizon.net) or Julia Gonzales (juliag@gmail.com).

Blocks and Legos Donations Needed for Kinder Yard! Do you have blocks/legos that your children have outgrown? Please donate them to the Kinder Yard! We would also love crayons and drawing paper. Please bring donations to the Main Office. Questions? Contact: Olivia Adams, Principal (oadams@lausd.net).
