Olivia Adams, Principal

I am so excited to have joined the community here at Walgrove because it is the consolidation of all of the different experiences I’ve had leading up to now! I come to Walgrove with sixteen years of school site experience in LAUSD, as Special Education Teacher, General Education Teacher, Categorical Program Coordinator, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Having driven literally across the city for the past six years I am delighted to come to work in my own backyard; being so close enables me to participate in so many school and community events that happen outside of school hours. And, as an LAUSD parent I approach my job with an awareness of the kinds of concerns you may have about your neighborhood school. I received my teaching credentials and M.A. in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena and a M.Ed. in Administrative Services through the Principal Leadership Institute at UCLA. I am a Los Angeles native, who looks forward to being a part of the Walgrove community for many years to come!
