Yossie Ziff - Kindergarten Teacher

Mr. Ziff In his twenty years of teaching, Yossie Ziff has particularly enjoyed his four years teaching kindergarten. “I am fascinated and stimulated by the mind of kindergarteners. They have a purity and beauty in the way they see the world.” He believes that: “They're all geniuses. Once they internalize that thought, it begins to be actualized.” Mr. Ziff graduated from Sonoma State University with a bachelors degree in Liberal Studies. He received a teachers credential at USC in elementary education and a bilingual / cross cultural certificate as well. In addition to his family and job, Mr. Ziff also loves to surf and play guitar. He appreciates the stimulation that parents and kids bring to the classroom, as well as the support of the Friends of Walgrove and the administration's willingness to allow him to excel in his field.
