Friends of Walgrove

uniting children, teachers and parents

Thanks to all who participated in this weekend's Community Day! Congratulate yourselves on a job well done. Classrooms looked and smelled LOADS better and the overall atmosphere was pretty darn joyous. It's not how we'd LIKE to plan our Saturday but people really seemed happy to be there.

It would be great if we could get this thing calendared for next year on a regular monthly basis, for example every 3rd Saturday of the month. That way it would not be quite so overwhelming and parents could focus and plan for special projects, like cabinets or shelves. Also, parents could sign up in advance with a rotation of two or three families per weekend. In theory it should be an easy couple of hours.

According to the sign in sheet, the following folks came to get down and dirty... or just play and visit with friends. If you don't see your name or the name of someone you know who was there, please let me know.
