That's a lot of EWASTE!

Hey everyone,

So I want to report that we collected over 25,000 lbs of e-waste on our January 30th event! That's a lot of electronic stuff we unloaded!

In terms of proceeds to the school, Walgrove made:

$850.00 for all the Tvs, Monitors, Flat screens (from the state of California)

$ 60.00 for all the cartridges that were taken to Staples for recycling (thank you Laurie Hansen!)

TBD on the phones. We will know in a couple of weeks.

So, the total is $910+ (and counting)

I think that is a win/win for all of us Thank you again to everyone who helped make this a successful community event!
