I am very excited to be working at Walgrove as the Categorical Program Advisor. I grew up on the Westside attending St. Anne’s Elementary and St. Monica’s High School. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from UCLA and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Cal State Los Angeles. I have worked for LAUSD for the past 15 years as a bilingual teacher and coordinator.

I come from a family of educators, my husband Ruben is a Principal at a neighboring school so we’ve always had an interest in student and making sure they succeed academically. My job here at Walgrove entails keeping the school in compliance with LAUSD and State policies. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, raising my two daughters in Downey, CA and traveling.
